Delaplane Strawberry Festival 2008 : This year's temperature was much better than last year's, thank goodness. We had a great time with Susan Lowry and family, even participating in a 3-legged race. Madeline wasn't too sure about it though. If you ever get the chance to be in VA at the end of May, you've got to check this festival out!

Delaplane Strawberry Festival 2007 : We took Madeline, Andrew and Katherine to the the Strawberry Festival out in Delaplane. The kids had a great time running and playing. The strawberry sundaes were pretty good too ;-)

Punkins and Grannies! : This fall started off right with trips to Meadows Farms and to the Pumpkin Patch with Mamaw. Madeline had an interesting time wading her way through the pick-your-own pumpkin patch. She wasn't too sure about all the weeds, that's why Mommy and Mamaw carried her most of the way!

Evening at the Farm : Granny Griggs was in town so we all went down to the farm to have dinner and hang out. The weather was amazing for a mid November day and we all enjoyed taking the kids out to visit the cows. There are very few places that feel as comfortable as the farm.
